Reading Books on iMac vs Other Apple Devices

How is the experience of Reading Books on Mac vs Other Apple Devices
If you’re an avid eBook reader then you undoubtedly care quite a bit about the devices that you use as readers. When it comes to Apple devices there isn’t a 'dedicated' e-reader device, but instead all Apple devices are capable of reading eBooks either natively or through certain apps – depending on the format.

The main devices in the Apple product range nowadays encompasses the MacBook, iMac, iPhone and iPad. Granted there is the Apple Watch too – but that isn’t likely to be used as an e-reader anytime soon.

Out of these, the iPhone and iPad tend to be the ‘go to’ choices for an Apple due to the fact that they are portable and just about the right size. The MacBook would be next in line (and next in size too), while the iMac trails behind the three as it is really a desktop computer.

That being said if you’re getting your eBooks via iTunes then syncing it across all your Apple devices would be a good idea. Essentially it will allow you to read your eBooks on whichever device you happen to be using, and so if you happen to be working on your iMac but want to quickly refer to part of an eBook you could just switch to it without needing to go look for your iPad.

Although you may not realize it, as time goes by your iMac is going to accumulate junk files of one variety or another. It could be old logs and cache files, iPhoto trash, or even other trash bins. Since you have no way of knowing where these junk files are hiding, you’ll have to manually search through every single file and folder to find them.

That, in itself, is one of the biggest alternatives of using an app such as the Movavi Mac Cleaner – it will take what would otherwise be a tedious and time-consuming process and make it quick and convenient.

Assuming you clean your iMac on a regular basis with a simple app its performance levels can be maintained. Considering the cleaner for Mac app makes it such a simple process, it won’t take more than a couple of minutes of your time to do so and that makes the advantages certainly more than worthwhile. Of course, the best way to see just how advantageous it is would be to try it out for yourself and see how much of a boost in performance you obtain when you clean your iMac for the first time.
